Ellen Williams

Welsh classical artist Ellen Williams has been praised for her “poise and promise, her voice agile with silvery charm” (The Guardian), and has been described as singing “with heart-piercing sweetness” in The Times. Ellen has given performances both internationally and across the UK in many of the most prestigious concert halls including the Royal Albert Hall, Cadogan Hall, Royal Concert Hall Glasgow, Bridgewater Hall, the Brangwyn Hall, the Wales Millennium Centre, and for HRH The Prince of Wales in Buckingham Palace. Ellen grew up surrounded by music with Welsh hymns and folk songs often sung around the family home, and Ellen’s single ‘Dancing with the Angels’, a new arrangement of the beautiful Welsh Lullaby ‘Suo Gân’ featured in Spielberg’s ‘Empire of the Sun’, went to No1 in the Classical Charts! About

Sparky Madison Records was borne from the frustration of working extensively on the climax of a piece of music for a TV series that ultimately was used as dramatic background music during a violent death scene. The song was "In Search of Truth" from "Radiance". Although I am very proud to have my music used in many TV shows that promote a sense of social justice and responsibility, I also felt I should use my craft to promote positive and inspiring ideas through songs to an increasingly angry world, sort of like a message in a bottle.
